drona set down arms... but it wasn't immediate... And I don't think the question could have been that easy. I think something falls off yudhistra's chariot or something like that.. basically something happens to indicate the fact that this isnt a war being fought with truth alone.
now i remember.. nothing fell from his chariot.. but his chariot which was actually flying a few inches off the ground until then came down and made contact with the earth....
